Cloud architecture built around your business applications.

Zemtoris helps organisations in Ireland and the UK plan cloud foundations, review existing environments and prepare infrastructure changes. We start with your applications, dependencies and operating requirements.

Architecture reviews, implementation, hosting and ongoing support are scoped separately. We confirm the work and costs before you commit.

Where to start

Make the requirements explicit.

A new application

Work out how the application will be hosted, who can access it, how it connects to existing systems and what the team needs to operate it.

An environment that needs attention

Review the current topology, access boundaries, deployment process and monitoring. Identify changes that address an observed operational or security requirement.

A planned migration

Map dependencies, data movement and release windows before changing infrastructure. Agree what must keep working and how the team can recover if a stage fails.

Architecture scope

Design the foundations and the operating model.

Infrastructure and connectivity

Choose appropriate hosting and environment boundaries. Document network routes, application dependencies and connectivity to the systems that remain outside the cloud environment.

Identity and security

Define permissions, secrets ownership and administrative access. Agree data handling and security requirements with your team before implementation begins.

Deployment and operations

Plan repeatable deployment, monitoring, backup and recovery around the application. Name the people responsible for alerts, access reviews and ongoing changes.

Deliverables and dependencies

Agree a reviewable plan before making changes.

The proposal identifies the environments and applications in scope. Depending on the engagement, deliverables can include an architecture diagram, recorded design decisions, a prioritised change plan, agreed infrastructure changes and operating instructions.

We need access to relevant technical information and the people who own the application, security and operations. Existing licences, vendor constraints, network access and data requirements can affect the design and implementation sequence.

Before release, agree acceptance checks for connectivity, permissions, deployment, monitoring and recovery. Hosting charges, software licences, migration work and support commitments are identified separately. The proposal records responsibilities and scope before work begins.

Practical questions

Cloud architecture questions.

Can you review an existing cloud environment?

Yes. We agree the review boundary, access and available evidence first, then examine the relevant infrastructure, networking, security and operational arrangements.

Does an architecture review include implementation?

Only where the written scope includes it. A review can result in recommendations and a change plan; building or migrating the environment is a separately agreed scope.

Can we modernise the application at the same time?

Application changes and infrastructure work may need to be planned together. Read about legacy modernisation to understand how we approach changes in stages.

What happens after handover?

Agree who owns monitoring, incidents, access and changes. Any ongoing support is defined separately so responsibilities are clear.
